The quality of your writing depends on the quality of your ideas.

We judge ideas differently from the way we judge facts. We judge facts according to how accurate we find them. We judge ideas according to how meaningful we find them.

Persuasion involves presenting an effective argument. It makes sense from the reader's point of view.

But a good argument is not enough. It will convince only if supported by evidence - facts.
