Before you can start writing your paper, you should develop the skeleton around which you will build it.

Preparing an outline is the most important step - after defining your message - in the process of producing a paper for publication in a journal.

We will work on the outline in two stages. Here we will guide you through preparing a quick sketch of your outline. Doing this will help you to gain an overview of your paper. Once you get into the details, it is easy to lose sight of the paper as a whole.

When you come to writing the first draft, we will guide you through putting in the detail.
