ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
The purpose of the acknowledgement section is to thank people. The production of knowledge involves a large number of individuals
and institutions. Different people give their labour (intellectual or manual) to every aspect of scientific work. The input
of all those who contribute substantially should be acknowledged.
You should include acknowledgements to donors, funding agencies, research award committees, industries and all those who have
made financial contributions to the project.
This is not merely a matter of courtesy and gratitude. It is part of the process of declaring interests, providing information that the reader requires in order to evaluate potential bias in your research.
